Vie

On this date, exactly 7 years ago, I joined the UEM Group. Yup, I've been with UEM Group for 7 years now.

It's also JJ's birthday today. Called him up this morning to wish him, and he was lying in bed sleeping...haha, he took the liberty of taking the day off.

Fiona Tham's not doing well. Cancer infiltrating the lungs, laboured breathing, panic attacks...Lord, may Your grace see Jeff, Fiona & their children through this trying time. Let them grow old together, let her see her kids grow to be men & woman after Your own heart.

One of our Canticle Singers, Kelly...her dad passed away today from heart attack. She's only 16.

Reminds me of what's important in life. I recall pondering about how I'd live life if I only had a year left to live. Helps to keep focused on what matters.

And He (Jesus) told them this parable: "The ground of a certain rich man produced a good crop. He thought to himself, 'What shall I do? I have no place to store my crops.' "Then he said, 'This is what I'll do. I will tear down my barns and build bigger ones, and there I will store all my grain and my goods. And I'll say to myself, "You have plenty of good things laid up for many years. Take life easy; eat, drink and be merry." ' "But God said to him, 'You fool! This very night your life will be demanded from you. Then who will get what you have prepared for yourself?' "This is how it will be with anyone who stores up things for himself but is not rich toward God."
~Luke 12:16-21 (NIV)~
